This is a support and service organization for composers. Duties included fund-raising,
concert presentation, membership services. Network for New Music continues as a vital
force for the presentation of new music in Philadelphia.

1998 - Founder and Artistic Director — New West Electro-Acoustic Music Organization (NWEAMO)

This is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization dedicated to presenting electronic and electro-acoustic works. To date NWEAMO has hosted five annual international festivals. The NWEAMO Festival takes place early in October on consecutive weekends in San Diego and Portland, OR. The goal is to present the widest possible spectrum of electro-acoustic music, from the experimental fringes of dance music and electronica to the esoteric reaches of the avant garde.

I designed and built professional recording studios in both Philadelphia and Portland. In addition to my own projects, I have engineered and/or produced hundreds of professional recordings in genres ranging from classical to rap. I have also engineered many works for National Public Radio, and contributed as writer and audio archivist to the Peabody award winning PBS series "The Miles Davis Radio Project".
